Workwear Heritage
The Stronghold opened in Los Angeles in 1895 outfitting labourers. The chore coats, five-pocket jeans, and heavy shirting we sell now come from the same pattern logic — reinforced where hands pull, roomy where arms move.

One store, one idea, for over a century: clothing built for work, kept long after the work changed.
The Stronghold opened in Los Angeles in 1895 outfitting labourers. The chore coats, five-pocket jeans, and heavy shirting we sell now come from the same pattern logic — reinforced where hands pull, roomy where arms move.
Stronghold denim, cut and sewn in Los Angeles, alongside Freenote selvedge. Raw indigo, black, and hickory stripe, sold unwashed so the fades belong to you.
Western shirts, and felt and straw hats from Bailey and Stetson, shaped in store — the western half of LA's wardrobe, kept in stock year round.
Waxed cotton jackets, cruisers, and field coats, including the Freenote RJ-1 — outerwear that treats weather as a maintenance schedule rather than a problem.
